For our team, the challenge in a combined installation is zoning the surface treatments so that each area is optimized for its specific use. Sports court areas require colour zoning that defines play zones and lines; water play areas require colour and pattern that supports the play narrative for children.

The formulation is adjusted slightly between applications — aggregate size and density varies between a sports court finish and a spray pad finish — but the base product and application process are consistent, which simplifies project logistics and ensures consistent colour matching between zones.
